Presented in a joint effort by Crystal Dynamics and Dark Horse Books, Chronicles of the Tomb Raider will explore Lara Croft’s life, the Tomb Raider‘s franchise’s history, and the series’ cast & lore in chronological order. Written by author Alex Forbes-Calvin, whose previous credits include RuneScape: The First 20 Years – An Illustrated History and The Making of Assassin’s Creed: 15th Anniversary Edition, Chronicles of the Tomb Raider promises to be a definitive breakdown of gaming’s most storied franchises.
Chronicles of the Tomb Raider Releases October 2026
30 years and three days after the original Tomb Raider released on October 24, 1996, Chronicles of the Tomb Raider releases on October 27, 2026. Chronicles of the Tomb Raider will be available for purchase and pre-order from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, as well as local comic book shops and book stores. Chronicles of the Tomb Raider will retail for $54.99.
